Shamelessly Promote Your Blog: Tip No. 4

Tip No. 4 to Shamelessly Promote Your Blog: Pitch it to someone big, publicly. No, not that pitch. I’m talking about pitching your blog to Steve Rubel.

All you have to do is to come up with a sub-1 megabyte pitch in either text, PDF or jpg/gif formats. At first, you might not think this is any different from chucking a private e-mail in his inbox (which is Tip No. 3 BTW), but check out the public iDisk folder you’re supposed to dump your pitch in. If your pitch is one of the most creative ones submitted, you’ll get some link love from Steve.

There are already 6 pitches there, including one for AwesomeMillion.com which we saw not too long ago.

Just one word of advice. Try not to get a care package from The Bad Pitch Blog.
