I just had to link to this. There’s a very short post over at pc4media on designing banner ads and how some have taken extreme measures to the extent of making banner ads misleading.

The conclusion given is a very simple text banner ad on: Fight Breast Cancer. The banner animation, of course, changes everything. That you have to see.
