Performancing Firefox Out Of Beta

It was 1.1 not too long back, and in beta too. But last week, we saw Performancing Firefox (PFF) coming out of a successful beta test period with version 1.2.

With all new features (e.g. del.icio.us, technorati and Performancing Metrics intergration), even if compared to some of the more mature desktop blogging software out there, Performancing Firefox has become one of the best blogging tools available to bloggers seeking a productivity boost.

While I still use BlogJet as my primary desktop blogging tool, when it comes down to inline, or rather in-browser blogging, I believe that nothing beats Performancing Firefox (though BlogJet does have a BlogJetThis feature to instantly blog on current articles). If you install the SpellBound extension for Firefox, you’ll even get inline spellchecking functionality into PFF (BTW, though BlogJet has a spellchecker, it isn’t inline).

So, if you use Firefox and are game for a desktop blogging tool, I recommend trying out Performancing Firefox. It might not be the best out there, but it’s definitely close.
