Most Popular Categories by Posts WordPress Plugin Released

In response to a WordPress support thread, I whipped up this WordPress plugin to display a list of the most popular categories in a particular time period (e.g. last 7 days, 30 days, etc.), based on the number of posts assigned to your categories in that time period.

You might prefer a graphical explanation, so here’s a screenshot of blogHelper’s most popular categories in the past 30 days:
