More Drupal 4.7 Themes
If you need more Drupal themes than are provided at the Drupal CVS, the Drupal Theme Garden, or even the Drupal theme generator, you can now check out coffee.geek.nz’s Drupal template repository.
Over there, various web templates from sites like Open Web Design have been ported to Drupal, but given that some of these templates were not given an explicit GPL license by their creators, they were not added to the Drupal CVS.
Although cofee.geek.nz doesn’t actually say that the templates are for Drupal 4.7, based on my rudimentary check of the template code, most (if not all) of them should be 4.7-compatible only.
Here’s one template I particularly like:
- Black Orange by Will Rossiter
Note: A simple, but nice above-bottom-fold design. But I’m not sure how Drupal’s block system has been implemented on the theme given the lack of sidebars.

saw the referrers and decided to check out your blog.
yeah, they’re themes i build for internal projects - - so that site doesn’t look so ugly while the developers are coding but we’re still waiting for the designers to send the “real” design.
they’re for Drupal 4.7 - or whatever druap was the latest stable at the time of theme release.

Thanks for the clarification. One thing’s for sure, for temp themes, some of them are pretty good.
