Kiwi Theme: Featured Posts Not Working in WordPress 2.0

Darn, and I wanted to play with that Featured Posts plugin too. It seems even the Kiwi Plugin does not work completely with WordPress 2.0.

While the admin interface for the Featured Posts plugin seems okay, i.e. it is possible to make your posts into featured posts, they never show up on the index page. The only thing you will see on the main page is ‘No Featured Posts Found’.

So, I’ve decided to go the opposite direction and try one of the most minimalistic WordPress themes I’ve found: Zen-Minimalist. But I’ve removed the automatic decapitalization of all my content text, i.e. text-transform: lowercase, given that it can become pretty irritating when writing long posts.
