Gmail for Own Domains

While Paul Stamatiou recently got significant link love for his very comprehensive article on how to start blogging, I was more interested in an older blog post of his on setting up Gmail as a webmail alternative for your domain email accounts.

Admittedly, one reason for this is the fact that I’ve fallen in love with Gmail’s interface and implementation. But it can’t be denied the Gmail is substantially different, if not better than many webmail software included in most shared hosting packages, e.g. SquirrelMail.

In any case, the main reason for this post is that I actually applied for this private beta Gmail service (even Gmail members must apply for it) a couple of weeks back, and have yet to receive an invitation. So, as uhmm… “prideless” as I am, I’d like to use this post to implore our dear Gmail admins to give me an invite!
