Getting Your Blog into Google News

Traffic, traffic and more traffic. That’s what you’ll get if you somehow manage to coax Google News into accepting your blog. Of course, that blog has to fit a whole load of requirements first, which I never knew until reading a recent post over at Search Engine Roundtable.

P.S.: One Google News requirement is that, “The URL for each article must contain a unique number consisting of at least three digits.” This is one good reason why you might want to go back to old school permalinks (which contain the date your post was published).
