Free Well-Designed Blogger / Blogspot Templates
Blogger / Blogspot is such a popular free blog platform / host that all of its default templates, though well-designed, have already reached the “boring, been there” status. This is compounded by the fact that good Blogger template designers are few and far between.
So, it’s nice to see that Gecko and Fly are distributing some good and free Blogger templates over at their blog, which at my last count, was at 15 templates. Most of the templates are proven designs, ported for Blogger from Wordpress (e.g. K2, Ambiru) or general open source web templates, e.g. Andreas02 (has been ported to Wordpress as well).
This is undoubtedly good for the Blogger community, and of course, a smart move by Gecko and Fly as well. I can only imagine the linkage and Blogger users they are receiving.

I like the designs from Gecko and Fly. I used them a lot on my blogs and have used it for my site before. And they are free!

Thanks for the link. My company recently started a “quality” blog template site that hosts Blogger and WordPress templates. Our staff surfs the web in search of the best free blog templates and then adds them to our library. Some are from Gecko and Fly b/c they offer great free quality templates that we’d like to share with our visitors.
We’re still in our growing stage but we’ll be ramping up in the next several months. For now, check us out and download all the templates you want!
