Drupal Theme Garden: More Drupal Themes?

Unlike many other Content Management Systems (CMS) - whether blog-specific or not - Drupal has a very comprehensive section of its official website dedicated to themes. But, besides the obvious reason of Drupal having a very strong developer community, this is possible only because there are a manageable number of publicly available Drupal themes - at least for each version of Drupal. While there are more than 50 themes available for Drupal, only around 40+ support 4.6.x - with a few 4.5.x-only or 4.7.x-only. So, every theme available counts.

Anyway, what if you wanted a live demo of all the 4.6.x Drupal themes? This is where the Drupal Theme Garden comes into play. It is equipped with a complete theme-switching system with links to Drupal’s official site - allowing you to preview every theme before installing it.

More importantly though, the Drupal Theme Garden seems to list more themes for 4.6.x compared to Drupal’s official site. Since it basically serves as a testing ground for themes, I wouldn’t be surprised if it included themes that have been ported from older versions of Drupal.

Well, a rather pathetic discovery, isn’t this? That’s why I started with such a huge paragraph on why every Drupal theme available counts.
