BlogKits – A Disappointing First Look

BlogKits, one of the two blog-centric Cost Per Action (CPA) ad networks we looked at last week, released a small list of merchants and offers available two days back. Did I mention small?

I’m feeling a bit underwhelmed by the offers that are being showcased at the moment (just six), with a couple of them involving hefty price tags – traditionally tough sells for the average blogger. Let’s also not ignore the fact that the merchants showcased seem to already be existing partners in Forge Corp.’s OfferForge network (Forge acquired BlogKits earlier this month).

We might have asked for BlogKits to show us the offers, but surely they can do better than this. 6 offers for the 1000+ bloggers that have signed up? Come on.

Admittedly, it’s a little too early to judge. But this is the sort of scrutiny new blogger-centric ad networks will have to get used to as they lift off the ground. Heck, Jamsi over at WorkBoxers critiqued Performancing Partners only last month.
