Chitika Unaudited Statistics Slow: Yet Again?

I’m not too sure about other Chitika publishers, but I’ve noticed that my Chitika’s unaudited revenue statistics are being published late by an additional day since a couple of days back. Previously, Chitika publishers - including me - have been getting their statistics late by only one day, but since a couple of days back, […]

First One Cent Adsense Click

I’m not sure how to feel now that I’ve gotten what’s probably my first one cent Adsense click. Normally, it’s almost impossible for me to decipher which click is worth the “golden” number of $0.01 given that it’s usually mashed up with other clicks, but today, it was the very first click I received.
While […]

Performancing Metrics: First Impressions

I’ll not waste time and go straight to the point. Performancing Metrics hasn’t performed at the level I’ve expected it to, but it’s perhaps too early to say anything as it is still in public beta after all. Absolute Beginners: WordPress - Introduction

What would you teach an absolute beginner to WordPress? I’m talking about the true neophytes - those that have never ever touched any blogging platform, whether Blogger or Typepad. In what order would you teach the various fundamentals of WordPress? How much should you teach in each session?
While many might accuse me of judging newbies […]

WordPress 2.0.2 Is Out

Following the relatively recent WordPress 2.0.1 release, WordPress developers have made available WordPress 2.0.2. The upgrade contains a few bug fixes and resolves several XSS security issues (which FYI, I have no idea about either).
You can get this latest version of WordPress at WordPress.org.
P.S. I know I said I might upgrade this blog (currently […]

Ping-O-Matic Underwent Server Move

With the relatively recent complaints that pinging Ping-O-Matic was resulting in lags (and even the dreaded White-Screen-Of-Death) when publishing posts, it wasn’t a surprise that Ping-O-Matic took the hardware-upgrade route.
Users have reported improvements, and so have I. But… the lag is still pretty noticeable. I’m not sure whether the problem is on Ping-O-Matic’s side […]
